Maui

Although it’s only 48 miles wide at its longest point, Maui is the second largest of the Hawaiian islands, with a land area of 729 square miles. If one were to drive the perimeter of the island, they’d be on the road for about nine hours. Maui may sound small, but in reality, it’s a vast landscape of both familiarity and exploration for our podcasters at Lokelani Intermediate School, who have spent their lives there.
